Camel Posture: Ustrasana

Kneel on the floor, the knees and ankles together, the toes flat on the floor. Bend back and grasp the ankles, the thumbs to the inside of each ankle. Push the pelvis forward, throw the head back, and arch the spine strongly. Stay in the Pose for ten to twenty seconds, breathing freely.

The Camel Posture strongly stretches the spine and feeds the spinal nerves with blood. It stretches the whole front of the body, stimulates the circulation in all parts, and corrects rounded shoulders and a hump at the base of the neck.
