Sitting Knee Squeeze Posture I, Also Called Wind-relieving Posture: Pavanmuktasana

Sit on the floor, legs extended, feet together. Exhaling, draw the knees back and up to the chest, keeping the back straight and the soles of the feet flat on the floor. Wrap the arms around the knees. Inhaling, press the knees firmly against the chest for six seconds.

The abdominal viscera are massaged by the Knee Squeeze. Intestinal gases may be released. Spine and legs are limbered.
