Supine Preparation for Lotus Posture II: Padmasana

As in Padmasana 1, this version differs from the first version of this preparation by stretching the arms overhead, the backs of the hands resting on the floor.

The effects are much the same as for Padmasana 1, but with greater stretching of the upper body. Both versions are worth performing; Padmasana 1 is not superior in every way to Padmasana 2.
