Here is my daily workout of Yogic asanas. I do the postures just in the order they are listed. Click on Sanskrit names to see a detailed description. These are taken from James Hewitt's The Complete Yoga Book (New York, 1977). The session lasts about one hour.
Relaxation: Savasana
All-Body Stretch: Samasthiti, Urdhva Hastottanasana 1, Urdhva Hastottanasana 2, Virasana, Salaam Posture, Matsyasana, Halasana
Spinal Twisting: Red Indian Twisting, Matsyendrasana
Sitting or Kneeling: Sukhasana
Abdominal Squeezing and Contracting: Pavanmuktasana 1, Pavanmuktasana 3
Inverted: Sarvangasana, Ardha-sirsasana 1
Abdominal Muscle Controls: Pumping
Relaxation: Savasana
